    1. Hi! I used a C and D /2,5 and 3mm crochet hook with corresponding cotton; I used the brand Phildar. x Ingrid

  1. Hi Ingrid 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing pattern. It’s just gorgeous ❤️ I’m a beginner, but I’ve made all of my individual pieces so far with almost no issues. However, I’m really struggling with the headband. I love the way yours looks and would like to crochet it as you did, as a sleeve, rather than the basic way you find when you search “crochet over plastic headband”. I’ve googled and searched youtube over and over again, and I can’t seem to find anything that shows a similar way of covering a headband as how you did it. Is there any chance you could share a video that you might know of, or if it’s not too much trouble, even make a short one on how you did it? Your words/direction: “crochet a chain just as wide as the bottom of your headband” confuses me. Do I cover just one side (on the bottom) or do I do a chain the length of the two bottoms? I’m sorry to bother you about this, I was really hoping I’d be able to figure it out on my own, and I’m not sure why I’m having such an hard time with it. Thank you, Tany

    1. Hi Tany!

You’re not bothering me at all and thank you for the compliment! 🙂
What I mean with “crochet a chain just as wide as the bottom of your headband” is the width of the flat part of the headband that is placed behind the ears. So for me for example; I chained 5 and crochet around the chain (if you don’t know how to crochet around a chain, here’s a youtube video i found; Only I did not increase after the first round but just kept going up with 10 HDC so it formed a sleeve. After i reached the desired length (which is the length of the headband) I slipt the sleeve over the headband and i closed it off with 3sc.

I hope this helps if not feel free to send me an email or a Facebook msg 🙂

      xx Ingrid

  2. That helps a LOT!Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question and walk me through what you did to make the sleeve 🙂 Have a great day Ingrid, and thank you again ❤️

  3. I’m confused by the horn pattern. Mine just kept getting bigger and bigger without the cute in and out pattern. Like in row 2: do I *1sc, 2sc in 1* and repeat the entire thing 6 times or only repeat the increase? Thanks for the help!

    1. Hi Nikki! The number (6) is the total of sc you have at the end of round 2. So first you sc 1, then you increase and repeat this once more. Now you have 6sc. after this you continue to round 3.
Now you sc 6. In round 4 you sc 1, then increase. Keep doing this until you reached the end of the round. Now you have 9sc. It helps a lot if you work with a stitch marker. The in and out pattern, ”the swirly part” comes at the end of the pattern, you do this by attaching a thread at the bottom of the horn and twisting this around the horn tightly.
      hope this helps!

      Love, Ingrid
